Some history of the Finchley Synagogue - Kinloss |
Finchley Synagogue started off independently with services that began in 1930 at no. 7 Crescent Road. As the congregation grew, a synagogue for 500 people opened in Kinloss Gardens near the North Circular Road and in 1935 and became a constituent member of the United Synagogue. With the completion of construction in 1967, the synagogue moved into the premises that it currently resides in. Today, Finchley Synagogue is a thriving community with more than 1,500 members.
